Bridger Steel, a long term, manufacturing company is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will work at our Belgrade campus!Come join our team as we continue our twenty plus year tradition of manufacturing the highest architecturally appealing metal roofing and siding products in the market. We have showrooms and manufacturing facilities across the Northwest.

About the Customer Service Representative Role

The Customer Service and Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and client support activities in order to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. This position will be part of the sales team pod and will report to the Sales Team Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet customers and be the first contact for inbound phone calls
  • Enter data accurately while preparing and maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and records
  • Process returns
  • Contact customers regarding order pickup
  • Handle cash
  • Monitor delivery of product for customer service and billing
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Assist staff members with general office requests
  • Scan, file, and retrieve documents
  • Assist in creation of regular reports to adjust marketing trends
  • Coordinate workflows for sales and marketing
  • Support local campaigns, relationships, and custom catered materials
  • Answer inbound questions from social media, chat function, phone, email, etc..
  • Schedule site visits (AIA, OSS, etc)
  • Bi-weekly review with team for adequate follow up to customer
  • Process warranty information at customer level
  • Manage post sale, pre-installation customer follow up.
  • Oversee photo release lead generation and scheduling
  • Prepare post project promotional items for customers
  • Schedule completion of close out documents for commercial jobs
  • Arrange on-site inspections for WT Warranty jobs
  • Identify potential customers based on previous jobs
  • Create follow ups for sales team to maintain relationship

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures
  • Data entry experience with fast and accurate typing/keyboarding skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to detail
  • Professionalism, courtesy, and tactfulness when interacting with external and internal customers
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Good decision making with ability to perform job duties with limited supervision
  • Prioritize projects and keep track of multiple tasks while completing them in a fast paced demanding environment
  • Perform as part of a team while maintaining a positive work environment
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Lift 40 lbs. occasionally

Store Operational Hours:
Job is primarily Monday through Friday, day shift, with occasional overtime as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
