Responsible for all aspects of store operations. Duties include: customer service; public relations; vendor coordination; overall operation of computerized point of sale and accounting system; daily books; merchandising to include ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, displaying and rotating of stock; security of all store assets; control of cash; control of fuel and merchandise inventories; product invoicing; keying daily sales; control of labor hours; employee hiring, orientation and training; employee counseling and discipline; scheduling and supervision of employees; maintenance and cleanliness of entire store and lots; enforcement of all policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Customer service to include communicating with customers, resolve complaints and inquiries.
2. Daily bookwork using computer to record employee information, inventory and sale information.
3. Make bank deposit.
4. Fill in for absent employee.
5. Order supplies and merchandise.
6. Answer telephone and screen calls.
7. Light maintenance and cleaning of store and restrooms.
8. Stock cooler and shelves.
9. Effectively prioritizing, organizing, delegating, and following up on store tasks to be accomplished.
10. Security of all store assets. Control of cash, fuel, and inventories. Control of store merchandise and labor hours.
11. New employee hiring, training, and orientation.
12. Merchandising, to include receiving, pricing, stocking, displaying, and rotating of bar inventories.
13. Store maintenance and basic repairs.
14. Inventorying of merchandise.
15. Keying of daily sales.
16. Invoicing merchandise.
17. Disciplining and/or terminating problem employees.
18. Enforcing all company policies and procedures.
19. Supervisory decisions that are consistent with Town Pump Inc. standards, policies and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience in the area of retail management. Additional experience should be in the area of supervision and retail operations with a strong background in sales and marketing.

Ability to work in cooler for up to one hour.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
