Casino Assistant Manager

Responsible for assisting the manager in all aspects of casino operations. Duties include: customer service; security of all casino assets; control of casino cash fund and inventories; auditing of shift reports and completion of all paperwork; auditing and completion of casino payroll records; mark-ups and mark-down of inventory adjustments; ordering office supplies; computer entry and recording of sales and purchases in casino running book; balancing casino records to office reports; and preparing bank deposit.
1. Customer service to include handling and screening of telephone calls.
2. Effectively prioritizing and organizing following up on office tasks to be accomplished.
3. Security of all casino assets. Control of casino cash fund, fuel, and inventories. Auditing of shift reports.
4. Accurate and effective completion of all casino paper work. Casino daily report. Casino daily purchases. Mark-up/Mark-downs inventory adjustments. Auditing and completing of casino payroll records.
5. Vendor control and invoice handling.
6. Ordering, to maintain an effective in-stock position of office supplies.
7. Processing of casino invoices to include auditing cost and retail price.
8. Computer entry and recording of sales and purchases in the casino''s running book. Balancing casino records to office reports.
9. Prepare bank deposit subject to Managers inspection & approval.
10. Casino safety.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and work experience in computer or ten key.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
