Job DescriptionThe positionAlliance Manager - Adriatic RegionResponsibilities Responsible for all commercial partnership matters related to the activities of our Company in the assigned countries, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, policies, legal requirements, and our Organon's standard operating procedures Identifies growth opportunities in the local markets and ensures in coordination with local partners that resources are deployed according to the market potential, in order to maximize the performance Together with local partners oversees the implementation of commercial activities and operations on quarterly basis, according to the local plan previously agreed Closely collaborating with local partners for effective and efficient implementation of marketing activities through multi-channels and collaboration with regional and local functions.
Regular meetings and follow up with local partners in order to establish optimum communication with all relevant health authorities in the country, including but without being limited to the Public Health Ministry, the National Medicine Agency and the National Health Insurance House and its subsidiaries in the Country Establishes action plans agreed with local partners, both on short and medium term, regarding the aspects of marketing, promotion, and right workforce to obtain the defined objectives mutually agreed with our Company.
This should be regularly reviewed with local partners (minimum on a yearly basis) where Alliance Manager should be sort of a link between our Company and local organization providing input and ensuring that local team is equipped, and resources are deployed to achieve max business results in line with our Company priorities as well as ensuring all aspects of the Agreements (where applicable) are appropriately implemented Ensuring that local business is up to date and fully in line with Organon's Compliance standards through training updates, SOPs and Agreements appropriately implemented and updated, regular reviews of business activities (minimum on a quarterly basis), etc.
Elaboration, approval, and implementation of the Commercial & Alliances Strategy for the assigned local partners Business cases preparation and presentation to appropriate stakeholders internally - Cluster Leadership Team, Regulatory, Finance, Global pricing, Strategic Alliances etc.
Ensuring continuous supply in a very specific non-standard Company environment and close collaboration with Customer Service (local, regional and cluster), Quality and Regulatory department (rout-to-customer, demand and supply fulfillment, commercial operations, other) Regular business reviews and close collaboration with local partners representatives ensuring appropriate business set up, team and resources to achieve the targets and implementation of appropriate business activities (marketing, market access, pricing, public policy, commercial) and being fully in line with compliance standards Strong support to local partners in market access & pricing activities, building cases in terms of pharmacoeconomic analysis, studies, etc.
building the case for local authorities and coordinated activities with local partner in order to maximize potential of our Company portfolio Required Education, Experience, and Skill Experience in the alliance partnership management in pharmaceutical business, in a senior position - at least 3 years Experience in the institutional business and interaction with high level business leaders Growth mindset and openness to knowledge sharing, networking and experimentation Results oriented with ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments Good understanding of P&L and basic financial analysis skills in terms of profitability, rationalization of portfolio, impact of different commercial activities, price changes etc.
Advanced sales & marketing knowledge related to pharmaceutical business Strong motivator flexible enough to adopt to different local environment and motivate local teams respecting procedures and conventions, capable to work and coordinate different departments within our Company with the local team Results driven, capable to react quickly and solve problems independently or involve manager timely when needed Excellent communication and influencing skills Excellent command of one of the languages of the covered region (Slavic) - must Excellent command of English (min.
